Art of Golf

Painting the portrait of the winner of THE PLAYERS golf tournament is a highlight for me every year. I have painted all the winners to date – nearly forty champion golfers. Every year my art, a montage of portrait and vignettes, tells something of the ever-epic story of that year’s tournament.

All of these portraits hang in a permanent gallery at the Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Additionally, banners of all my portraits line the Sawgrass entrance drive so that they greet visitors in chronological order on the approach to the golf course. The effect is striking.
